Back in early 2014 I co-presented a paper with Professor Lilian Edwards at the 6th  Biannual Surveillance and Society Conference in Barcelona. This was based on work from my LL.M thesis and was titled “Is Police Surveillance of Online Social Media Out Of Control? A UK Legal Perspective”. We have a journal version of this work in the pipeline, with an increased focus on Open Source Intelligence too. The 7th Biannual Surveillance Conference currently has a CfP and will run in April 2016 again in Barcelona.
